Bug Fix: Giving Experience Emails Now Sending as One

Some organizations experienced an issue where donors received two separate emails instead of one when completing a Giving Experience.

✅ This has now been resolved.

What’s fixed:

Giving Experience content is now correctly included in a single email

Prevents donor confusion and keeps the experience feeling whole

No action needed—this fix is live for all affected accounts

DP Coding Sync Issue (May 12–21) Resolved and DP Coding Contributions Restored

We want to make you aware of an issue that affected some Giving Experiences between May 12–21, 2025.

During this time, updating a Giving Experience (GE) that had DonorPerfect (DP) coding caused that coding to be unintentionally removed. As a result, any contributions on affected Giving Experiences synced during that period may have landed in DonorPerfect without DP coding applied.

Here’s what we’ve done to make it right: The issue was fully resolved as of May 21. We’ve restored DonorPerfect coding to all affected Giving Experiences. We’ve also re-synced all contributions made between May 12–21 to ensure your DonorPerfect records are complete and accurate.

Failed contributions show a status of 'Unsynced' in the contribution list

Users that have DonorPerfect connected would previously see failed contributions with a status of 'Unsynced' in the contribution list when filtering for failed contributions.

This has been fixed so that failed contributions show a status of "Failed".

Recurring payment summary notification is sent multiple times to the same user on the same day

When recurring profiles are processed, if more than one user account is opted-in to receive the recurring payment summary notification, it would be sent multiple times to each user.

This has been fixed to be sent once to each user.

Google Analytics - Purchase events were not showing up in Google Analytics for GA4 properties

This has been fixed by replacing the server-side purchase event submission to submit client-side.

You will now see purchase events in Google Analytics for GA4 properties.

Mailchimp Integration

Between September 13th and September 19th, there was an issue where supporter names were not syncing to Mailchimp. Only emails were being synced. This issue was resolved on September 19th.

You can use the 'Sync Existing Supporters' option on your Mailchimp integration page, to resync any supporters that may have synced during the affected period to Mailchimp to ensure that their names are also included.

Daily Recurring Payment Processing email

Between Feb 24th and March 1st inclusive, some subscribers may have not received their daily Recurring Payment Processing email. The problem is resolved and that email will now process successfully. This did not impact the processing of recurring payments.

Fundraising - Thank You Message Display

Embedded Donation Forms

Supporters may have experienced issues placing donations through embeddable donation forms from Thursday, Jul 14 at 2:44 pm EST to Monday, Jul 18 at 12:16 pm EST. This was due to a date validation error. An update was complete Monday, Jul 18 at 12:16 pm EST to resolve the issue.

Memberships syncing to DonorPerfect

1) If there is no MCAT linked to a membership level in Givecloud, then the membership level will not be synced to DonorPerfect (including the enrolment and expiry date).

2) When a contribution is synced to DonorPerfect, only if the contribution is linked to a membership will a supporters membership info be synced to their donor record in DonorPerfect.

"Can manage peer to peer" user permission was being referenced wrong in the code

In certain places in the code, the "Can manage peer to peer" user permission was being referenced in the code as "fundraising_pages" when it should have been "fundraisingpages". If your user profile was set as an "Account Owner" this issue wouldn't have affected you as we don't look at the permission name in that case, but due to the wrong reference, if you were not an "Account Owner" then it didn't matter if you had the "Can manage peer to peer" permission enabled, you would never see the "Configure" option under the menu. This update addressed this issue.
