Improvement
       Mike Young

A thoughtful expansion of login options within the Giving Experience introduces Social and Single Sign-On (SSO) methods, alongside existing login tools.

What’s new:

  • Google, Microsoft, and Facebook logins are now supported in Giving Experiences

  • SSO is available for organizations with internal identity providers

  • Login options are managed under: Settings → Supporter Preferences → Login Options

🔧 Improvements include:

  • SSO only appears when configured, avoiding donor-facing errors

  • One-Time Code login is clearly marked where required

Automatic Sync Enhancements That Keep Donor Giving History Accurate

Improvement
       Mike Young

We've made subtle but powerful improvements to how tax receipt data syncs between Givecloud and DonorPerfect

What’s new:

  1. Receipt Drawer Voided and draft tax receipts are now visible in a new receipt drawer within each contribution. This gives your team full visibility into receipt history, without losing context.

  2. Voided Receipts Auto-Sync Previously, voiding a receipt in Givecloud required a manual re-sync to clear data in DonorPerfect. Now, that happens automatically—no extra steps required.

  3. Revised Receipts Auto-Sync When you revise a tax receipt (any change that creates a new version), the updated receipt number and date now sync instantly to DonorPerfect.

What this means for you:

  • No more manual resyncs

  • Fewer errors and cleaner records

  • Giving History in the Donor Portal is always accurate and up to date

Note: These improvements require auto-sync to be enabled in your DonorPerfect integration settings.

Have past receipts that need syncing? These updates apply going forward. If you have older revisions or voids that haven’t synced:

Update to Contributions List

Improvement
       Mike Young

We’ve made a small but mighty change to help your team work more efficiently. After some thoughtful discussion, we’ve rolled back the auto-selection of "Approved & Pending" filters in the Contributions list. Here's what we’ve done instead:

  • The “All” tab no longer includes failed transactions.

  • This means when you click into “All,” you’ll now only see approved and pending contributions — the ones you’re actively managing.

  • Want to zero in on specific statuses? You can still manually filter for approved, pending, or use the failed tab as needed.

Why this matters:

  • Less clutter = faster workflows

  • More intuitive default view

  • Improved focus on active contributions

No extra clicks. No confusion. Just the data you need, right where you expect it.

       Mike Young

A small but meaningful update is now live: nonprofits can now add BCC recipients to Thank You Emails in Giving Experiences, giving teams more control over how acknowledgments are shared and stored.

  • Add BCC recipients to Thank You Emails sent through Giving Experiences. Useful for:

  • Archiving acknowledgments

  • Storing tax receipts

  • Keeping internal teams informed

The BCC field is optional, configurable, and easy to manage.

Located in the Visual Editor > “More Options” > Email & Tax Receipt tab.

Impact Giving is Now Its Own Form Type

Improvement
       Mike Young

We’ve made a small update to help you better manage and organize your Impact Giving forms.

  • Impact Giving now appears as its own form type (no longer grouped under “Giving Experience”)
  • You’ll see a new Impact Giving filter in your Fundraising List for easier navigation
  • Template switching is disabled on Impact Giving forms to keep layouts clean and consistent

No action is needed on your end — existing Impact Forms will be updated automatically.

“Limit to Homepage Only” Option for First Visit Redirect

Improvement
       Mike Young

You can now choose to trigger your First Visit Redirect only when a donor lands on your homepage.

  • Find the new toggle under Configure Website > First Visit Redirect

  • Gives you more control over when and where the redirect applies

  • Helps you welcome first-time visitors intentionally, without disrupting other journeys on your site

This update gives you more flexibility to shape the donor’s first impression — especially when your homepage plays a key role in introducing your mission.

You’ll Never Miss Test Mode Again

Improvement
       Mike Young

We’ve redesigned how test mode appears across Givecloud to eliminate confusion and build confidence. Whether you’re testing internally or showing off to stakeholders, it’s now clear when you're in test mode—and how to switch to live. What’s new: In the Admin:

“Test Mode” label now in the top-left menu Bold red styling with helpful tooltip: “Your default gateway is set to the GC test gateway. Set this to a live gateway to start processing payments.”

In the Giving Experience:

Bright red banner inside the payment drawer Modal warning before the form loads Red border around the entire form

Global DonorPerfect Sync Setting

Improvement
       Neil Lariviere

The Sync setting within the DonorPerfect integration settings is now a Global setting. Meaning, that if that toggle is turned off, no contributions will sync regardless of what the individual Giving Experience or Item setting is set to. This will give you great control over your DonorPerfect sync.

Tax Receipting Just Got an UPGRADE!

Improvement
       Neil Lariviere

Now you're able to offer your donors a better experience in terms of their donations. We know "today only" donors are expecting a tax receipt right after giving, and recurring donors don't want to see the receipt until the end of the year. You can now offer this with the "Individual One-Time, Consolidated Recurring" option. This is found within your tax settings.
