The Issue:

• Revisions to tax receipts were being tracked correctly in Givecloud Admin. However, for non-Canadian organizations, if the [[changes]] merge tag was included on a tax receipt (including Automatic Tax Receipts), the section may not have populated with the changes that were made.

What This Means:

• Donors still received their receipts, but the “changes” section may have appeared blank.

• This applied both to manually revised receipts and to Automatic Tax Receipts where the [[changes]] tag was present.

• The underlying tracking of changes in Givecloud Admin was never impacted.

Resolution:

• This issue has been fixed. Going forward, the [[changes]] merge tag will populate correctly for all organizations, including on Automatic Tax Receipts.

Next Steps for You:

• If you use the system’s Automatic Tax Receipt template, those receipts have been updated automatically and you may resend them if needed.

• If your organization has been issuing custom receipts that were originally created by copying the system template, you may need to void and re-issue those receipts to ensure the changes display properly.

• No other action is required.

Label Language Preference in Tax Receipting Settings - A new setting in Tax Receipting allows organizations to set the preferred order of bilingual field labels

This feature is available exclusively to Canadian organizations and is managed within Tax Receipting in the Organization Settings.

• Choose English/Francais or Francais/English for the column label order on tax receipts.
• Enables you to reflect the language preferences of your communities, showing respect and inclusion.

You can now choose to list all event products directly on the checkout page instead of using the “Add Ticket” modal.

Highlights:

• New “List Items” toggle in the multi-item checkout settings.
• When enabled, all products display in a list view at checkout.
• When disabled, users see the existing modal-based experience.
• Existing events default to the current behavior.
• New events default to the list view.

New Control: You can now hide recurring donation prompts when a one-time gift exceeds a specified threshold.

Custom Threshold: Choose the donation amount (e.g., $2,500+) that triggers the hidden upsell experience.

Donor-Centric Design: Avoid interrupting the emotional intent of large, one-time gifts with unnecessary upsells.

Live & Ready: Available now under in your Giving Experience under Customize Experience → Upsell Tab. Just toggle it on and set your threshold.

You now have the option to hide the donation amount from system-generated tribute messages — perfect for organizations that prefer a simpler message format.

• Enable the “Hide Donation Amount” setting per tribute type.
• Removes the amount from letter and email system messages.
• Tooltips in the tribute settings page reflect the message update.
• The updated message is shown in the Giving Experience tribute preview so donors know what the recipient will see.
