Recurring Payment Processing Summary Emails

You asked, we listened. Based on feedback submitted through the “Is this email useful?” link in our emails, recurring payment processing summaries now give you more of the information you told us you wanted.

  • See total contributions processed and overall success rate.
  • Review successful revenue and the total amount attempted.
  • See payments that are retrying or suspended.
  • Review failed payments and jump directly to individual contributions.
  • Quickly view all failures related to the recurring processing batch.

  • Organizations can now choose between curated custom amounts or donor-personalized amounts for returning supporters

Default Behavior

  • Existing Giving Experiences with suggested amounts set to Automatic will keep personalization enabled
  • Existing Giving Experiences with suggested amounts set to Custom will keep personalization disabled
  • New Giving Experiences will have personalization enabled by default

Giving Experiences: Custom Suggested Amounts by Donation Frequency

What’s new Suggested amounts can now be customized per frequency instead of being shared across all options.

With this update, you can:

Set values for each of the 5 suggested amounts for each frequency (one-time, weekly, monthly, etc.) Choose a default amount per frequency

This makes it easier to align your donation amounts with how donors prefer to give — whether that’s a larger one-time gift or a smaller recurring commitment.
